Students must complete at least two field experiences in a school setting with diverse student populations that include students with disabilities. These experiences allow teachers-in-training to take what they learn in the classroom and apply it in real-world settings.
The Certificate in Special Education is offered 100% online. Candidates have five years from the time of acceptance into the program until completion of course work.
