Bike for Special Needs

This is a bike that is meant for children with special needs. This bike allows them to ride a bike just like any other child. It comes with a seat belt and wheels that increase mobility. These bikes are meant to be used by children who have learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, autism, Down Syndrome, etc.

Bike for Special Needs is a community organization that works with therapists to create specially-designed tricycles for people with special needs. We began small, with one volunteer and a few donations, and have grown into a full-fledged national organization that reaches thousands of children and adults.

Our mission is simple: we believe everyone should be able to ride a bike. A child who can ride a bike has confidence, self-esteem, fitness, and mobility—all things every child deserves. An adult who can ride a bike has independence and the ability to enjoy getting out in their community.

We’ve made it our mission to help those with special needs find the support they need to live happy, healthy lives. We started out by helping children and their families find the gear they needed to make biking a reality, and we’ve since grown into a community of people who want to see everyone experience the joy and freedom that comes from taking a bike ride.

As we grew, we started to notice some trends among those with special needs. We noticed that many of them had a hard time finding the gear they needed at affordable prices. We noticed a lot of people needed education on how to teach someone with special needs to ride a bike safely. It was clear that there was a huge gap between what people with special needs could easily find, and what would be most helpful for their day-to-day life.

That’s why we created Bike for Special Needs. Our goal is to connect those with special needs directly with the gear and education they need in order to thrive in their communities. We started out making helmets, but have since expanded into other areas that improve safety and quality of life while riding—like gloves, elbow pads, knee pads, and more.

We believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to enjoy an activity as enriching and important as learning how to ride a bike. We also believe that biking means more than just getting from point A to point B—it’s about building confidence, self-reliance, and independence.

We are dedicated to providing a fun and safe learning environment for our participants where they can thrive and succeed. We have a long history of helping children with physical disabilities develop new skills and reach their highest potential.

This bike has a padded seat, handlebars, and removable foot straps to keep the rider’s feet securely fastened to the pedals. The pedals themselves are easy to reach and have a wide surface area so you can use your entire foot or just your toes. A grooved brake allows for easy stopping, and there are handgrips on either side of the seat that allow you to turn the front wheel right or left. The most versatile feature of this bike is its ability to recline back into a recumbent tricycle position, making it easier for people with disabilities who have trouble balancing upright.

Our bikes can be customized to fit any child. with adjustable height, adjustable handlebars, and a padded seat, you can make sure your child is perfectly comfortable on their bike. They come in 11 different colors, so there’s something for everyone. And they have three wheels so your child won’t ever fall over.

Our mission is to provide bicycles and helmets to children with disabilities. We take great pride in making sure that every child who receives a Bike for Special Needs bicycle not only gets exactly what they need, but also one that they love. We work hard to make sure each bike is not only safe and comfortable, but beautiful and fun, as well. The kids we work with really love their bikes—and we are so glad that we get to be a part of their joy.

The bike is designed to fit special needs of people with disabilities. The bicycle is designed to be equipped with accessories including adaptive seats, training wheels, a bike flag and other features. This bike can be ridden by those who have never been able to ride a regular bike due to their physical or mental limitations.
